Student Health
& Academic Readiness Screening
Make sure your elementary student has a strong foundation for the upcoming school year by screening them for any hidden problems that may be affecting their learning. Additionally, assess your child's math and reading skills according to their age. Licensed professionals and volunteers will lead vision, hearing, math and reading assessments on Tuesday, July 15th from 1-3pm at the James City County library. Conditions such as dyslexia, binocular vision disorders, hearing impediments, and more will be detected. Sign up here to reserve a time slot. This is necessary so we can email you the pre-screening survey to allow the most-informed diagnoses for your child(ren).
At this time we will be concentrating on 1st-5th graders and we can not test younger children or older youth due to the differences in testing and conditions. Feel free to Contact Us if you'd like to be informed of future screenings and events that encompass additional grade levels!
Who is it for: Rising 1st-5th grade students
When: Tuesday, July 15th from 1pm-3pm
