About Us

Enlighten Christian Academy is a small Christian microschool in Williamsburg, VA for youth going into 1st and 2nd grades. With class sizes under 10 students, we focus on developing the gifts of each unique student so they may accomplish God's plan for their life. Each morning that we meet begins with thankfulness through song and fellowship, and then academic classes are led by paid learning guides who specialize in interactive lessons while fostering a desire to learn independently.
After lunch (outdoors when possible), enrichment classes are led by parents and include music, art, Spanish, and business. Every Friday, known as 'Flex Friday', students may be joined with family members to engage in recreational or educational field trips, and sometimes mission trips to serve the local community. Our students follow a code of conduct to ensure respectfulness and parents are encouraged to contribute as much as they would like to their child's learning experience.

Students will release energy outdoors every day and science classes will instill an awe of God's intricate creation.

Personalized Attention

Small class sizes under 10 students ensure individualized support, helping each child discover and develop their unique talents.

After homeschooling our eldest daughter for 14 years, I learned that a community of positive peers helps support a student's love for learning and spiritual growth. Creating this academically-strong Christian microschool will enable my youngest daughters to thrive and allow other families to join us in the journey to fulfill God's calling on our lives!
